The Gateway to Uganda…the Pearl of Africa!
Situated on a Lake Victoria peninsula Entebbe was originally the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda before independence in 1962.
The State House is the official office and residence of the President of Uganda is also located in Entebbe.
The word Entebbe came from the Luganda language ‘e nteb’e which means ‘seat or chair’ therefore known as the seat of power in Uganda.
